Java Middleware Engineer

Overview

Java Middleware Engineer role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise integration platforms and middleware solutions.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and microservices.
• Implement and manage asynchronous messaging and event-driven architectures.
• Configure, deploy, and tune middleware application servers for performance and reliability.
• Integrate legacy systems, cloud applications, and databases with data integrity and error handling.
• Implement security using SSL/TLS, OAuth2, JWT, and secure API gateways.
• Diagnose and resolve middleware bottlenecks and production troubleshooting issues.
• Consult with users and technology groups and recommend programming solutions.

What you’ll need

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry.
• 3+ years of professional experience with Java-based middleware, backend integration, or enterprise application development.
• Strong Core Java (Java 8/11/17) with multithreading, concurrency, and JVM internals.
• Experience with Spring Boot and related Spring technologies (e.g., Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Integration).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise messaging middleware such as IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience deploying and configuring application servers like Apache Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic, or JBoss.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a related technical field.
