Junior Engineer Logistics

Overview

Junior Engineer Logistics coordinates and monitors inbound logistics operations, working with internal teams, suppliers, logistics service providers, transportation companies, and customers to drive on-time delivery and compliance.

What you'll do

• Plan, manage, and monitor inbound logistics operations while liaising with stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transport companies, and customers.
• Drive OTD and ensure timely PO release.
• Coordinate freight bill verification and resolve issues with forwarders/transporters and CFT.
• Coordinate custom document amendments and develop action plans to prevent recurrence.
• Follow up for customs clearance and approve the BOE filing checklist.
• Ensure timely recovery of claims and penalties related to forwarders/transporters.
• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports, and customer issues.

What you'll need

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in transportation management and international logistics.
• Preferred experience from manufacturing/automobile/aerospace industry.
• Ability to effectively liaise with logistics service providers, external, and internal customers.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and establish work priorities.
