Junior Engineer Mark, Swab & UC Clean

Overview

Junior Engineer for swab etch, part marking, ultrasonic cleaning, and DFL coating process work in GE Aerospace’s Pune manufacturing team.

What you'll do

• Follow router requirements and MOS as per the operation sequence.
• Operate process-related equipment safely.
• Identify defective parts/defects and raise NC tickets.
• Analyze and interpret design drawings, specifications, manuals, and MOS documentation.
• Ensure compliance to NADCAP requirements.
• Complete process documentation and perform inspection checklist verification.

What you'll need

• Diploma with 2–3 years of experience in related processes.
• Experience in special process shops such as swab etch, part marking, ultrasonic cleaning, or DFL coating.
• Knowledge of routers and MOS.
• Knowledge of chemical handling and storage, with related documentation.
• Experience in the engineering industry with first-hand exposure to process shops.
• Strong personal integrity and a safety/quality mindset.

Nice to have

• Exposure to special process NADCAP audits and related documentation.
• Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and provide solutions.
• Knowledge of Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma methodology.
• Good oral and written communication; ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organization.
