Overview

Kasten Engineering Intern (Summer 2027) to work on features for Kasten by Veeam’s K10 product in cloud-native backup and disaster recovery.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and test Kasten by Veeam K10 features for cloud-native backup and disaster recovery.
• Prepare design documents and conduct design reviews with the team.
• Create test plans for feature testing and present them to the team.
• Design and develop CI/CD test pipelines for testing features.

What you'll need

• Pursue a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Have interest in developing, testing, and debugging production-quality scalable multithreaded concurrent systems.
• Know distributed systems concepts and client-server architectures.
• Have strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
• Care about code quality, extensibility, coding standards, testing, and automation.
• Be impact and result-driven.

• Internship duration: June–August 2027 (10-week program).
