Senior Sales Engineer - Majors (West)

Overview

Senior Sales Engineer (Majors – West) serving as a technical advisor to customers and Sales, owning complex technical evaluations and end-to-end POVs in enterprise deals.

What you'll do

• Lead and shape technical strategy with Account Executives across opportunities from PG to Closed Won.
• Run customer discovery to uncover technical challenges, business goals, and success criteria.
• Deliver product demos, technical presentations, and solution workshops aligned to customer outcomes.
• Own technical evaluations (POVs) end-to-end, including scoping use cases and defining success criteria.
• Identify and develop technical champions across multi-stakeholder environments during the deal cycle.
• Document activity and deal progress accurately in related systems.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a technical customer-facing enterprise role.
• Experience influencing and adapting communication across technical, business, and executive audiences.
• Advanced background in public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, APM/tracing, security, developer experience, and observability.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
