Overview
Executive Director to lead KYC Refresh Governance within Client Onboarding & Regulatory Data Services (CORDS) for Mumbai. The role provides global first-line oversight on KYC refresh governance, reporting, and delivery risk management across the refresh lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Lead global governance for execution oversight, risk transparency, and delivery discipline across KYC Refresh, EDR, remediation, and special project populations.
- Own adherence to regulatory and target deadlines and act as a senior escalation point for delivery risk.
- Ensure timely identification, escalation, and resolution of ageing, at-risk, or blocked cases and control weaknesses.
- Oversee global governance reporting and insight production, including daily reporting, weekly metrics packs, dashboards, and senior submissions.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across KYC Production, Business Units, Global Financial Crimes, Operations Risk, and regional leadership to drive aligned decision-making.
- Shape and continuously improve the KYC Refresh governance model, including planning disciplines, reporting standards, metrics, RAG methodologies, and early-warning indicators.
- Strengthen data integrity and reporting accuracy across governance tools, automation workflows, and management information platforms.
What you'll need
- Ability to interpret, challenge, and synthesize complex operational data to inform senior decision-making.
- Proven ability to lead global or regional operations teams in a complex, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong first-line risk and control judgement to identify systemic issues and drive sustainable remediation.
- Ability to translate operational data and metrics into clear insights, risk narratives, and senior management action.
- Executive presence and credibility with senior stakeholders to influence decisions and secure ownership.
- Track record of leading teams through transformation, operating model change, process enhancement, and large-scale remediation programmes.
- Working knowledge of governance and reporting tools, including Python/Alteryx workflows and Power BI.
