Overview

Lead Drive Control Engineer role focused on engineering solutions for product control and control system technology needs across concept-to-production-to-operation lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Identify, develop, evaluate, introduce, and manage engineering solutions for control and control system technology needs.
• Apply control theory and mathematical modeling to design and control systems.
• Design and optimize control logic, control-related software, sensors, hardware, and algorithms, with feedback to improve performance.
• Execute design trade studies, select and implement the best design, and verify proper integration and execution.
• Provide informal guidance to new team members.

What you'll need

• Advanced experience in Engineering/Technology & Controls Engineering (for roles outside the USA).
• Knowledge comparable to a Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Power electronics and Drives and controls (or high school diploma with relevant experience).
• Experience as a lead project engineer handling multiple projects in power electronics-based product development and execution.
• Experience interacting with internal & external customers.
• Ability to work in an Agile methodology of execution.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
