Lead Engineer

Overview

Lead Engineer for the DEMPА team (Collins Aerospace) focusing on advancing MBSE practices and implementing Digital Engineering capabilities like the Digital Thread.

What you'll do

• Understand customer requirements and specifications thoroughly.
• Decompose system-level requirements into subsystem and component levels.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to model requirements and system architecture using SysML with Cameo.
• Incorporate Digital Thread methodologies to improve model traceability and lifecycle integration.
• Prepare technical and business proposals for advanced methods development.
• Mentor junior team members and lead assigned projects.
• Execute projects with focus on cost, schedule, and quality constraints.

What you'll need

• 3–7 years of experience in Systems Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in cyber-physical system modeling.
• Expertise in MBSE tools/methodologies such as Cameo, MATLAB, and Simulink.
• Strong experience in SysML modeling, simulation, and analysis.
• Experience in Verification & Validation.
• Knowledge of ARP 4754, DO-178C, and DO-331 (added advantage).
• B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Computer Science or equivalent.
