Lead Engineer, AEM Back-end (India)

Overview

Lead and architect enterprise-grade Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) back-end solutions across web, mobile, and cloud platforms.

What you'll do

• Architect and implement end-to-end AEM solutions for enterprise digital platforms.
• Design and develop AEM components, templates, workflows, and custom OSGi services.
• Define scalable content architecture, security models, dispatcher configurations, and multi-environment deployment strategies.
• Implement AEM Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) deployments using Cloud Manager and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and optimize AEM Agents, replication strategies, cache invalidation, and publishing mechanisms.
• Integrate AEM with Adobe Experience Cloud services and external APIs (REST APIs, GraphQL, third-party systems).
• Mentor developers through code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical guidance.

What you'll need

• 8–12 years of software engineering experience with Java/J2EE expertise.
• 5+ years of hands-on AEM development experience in AEM 6.x and AEMaaCS.
• Strong expertise in Sling, OSGi, JCR/Oak, dispatcher, MSM, and AEM workflows.
• Hands-on experience with AEM Cloud Service deployments and Adobe Cloud Manager.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and automated testing tools.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers.
