Overview
Lead Engineer for Cloud Enablement, an infrastructure-focused role serving as the technical anchor for a product-supporting engineering team.
What you'll do
- Deploy, manage, and support cloud infrastructure solutions using Google Cloud with a focus on cloud networking.
- Implement best practices for cloud provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and security.
- Develop and maintain cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code to automate deployments and configuration.
- Drive continuous improvement via automation and orchestration.
- Evaluate new technologies and participate in decision-making considering viability, maintainability, and cost.
- Lead testing and debugging strategy at the platform or enterprise level.
What you'll need
- 9+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), cloud-native platforms, and distributed systems.
- Deep hands-on expertise across GCP services including IAM, Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, and VPC networking.
- Strong software development experience in Go for scalable microservices and cloud-native applications.
- Proven experience designing and developing highly available, scalable, resilient distributed systems on Google Cloud.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane, or similar.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, IAM, security, observability, governance, and cloud cost optimization on GCP.
