Lead Engineer - ITR Core Gas Upgrades

Overview

Lead engineering support for gas turbine upgrades across inquiry-to-remittance activities, developing customer solutions and coordinating technical execution.

What you'll do

• Define gas turbine upgrade solutions, auxiliaries, and control systems for customer proposals.
• Manage technical coordination for conversions, modifications, and upgrades to gas turbines and balance-of-plant systems.
• Provide technical support across proposals and projects from inquiry through remittance.
• Develop processes, analytical tools, and KPI improvement initiatives.
• Communicate project solutions to internal and external customers.
• Represent the organization in customer meetings, user conferences, and industry communications.
• Lead cross-functional teams and resolve technical issues within established procedures.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
• At least 8 years of engineering or gas turbine field experience.
• Strong gas turbine experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed team environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Nice to have

• Field experience with GE Heavy Duty Gas Turbines.
• Experience with combined-cycle power plant equipment relationships.
• Continuous improvement experience and a process-improvement mindset.
