Lead Engineer, Senior- AI and Automation(Vulnerability Management)

Overview

Lead/Staff Product Security Engineer focused on AI and automation for vulnerability management and product security tools/platforms.

What you'll do

• Provide technical leadership across design, development, deployment, and support of security tools and platforms.
• Build full-stack, scalable applications including backend services, APIs, automation frameworks, dashboards, and integrations.
• Develop tools for vulnerability data processing, workflow automation, analysis, reporting, remediation tracking, and integrations.
• Create AI-assisted capabilities for security and software engineering workflows (e.g., data analysis, classification, summarization, recommendations, developer assistance).
• Evaluate and apply AI/LLM/agentic approaches for secure, reliable enterprise solutions.
• Drive projects from architecture and development through testing, deployment, and production support with minimal direction.

What you'll need

• 3+ years (Bachelor’s) or 2+ years (Master’s) or 1+ year (PhD) of software engineering or related work experience.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience programming in C/C++/Java/Python (or similar).
• Strong programming experience in Python and proficiency in C, C++, Java, or another programming language.
• Experience with production-grade full-stack applications and engineering platforms.
• Experience developing backend services, REST APIs, databases, frontend applications, automation frameworks, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience working with Linux, Git, build systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management concepts including intake, triage, applicability, exploitability, prioritization, and remediation.
