Overview
Lead functional ownership and application management for the global SAP GTS landscape, covering trade compliance, customs, integrations, reporting, and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Own SAP GTS availability, stability, performance, lifecycle, and application backlog.
- Manage export controls, sanctions screening, legal controls, and embargo processes.
- Drive SAP GTS customs declarations, communications, import/export, and trade-process improvements.
- Own functional integration between SAP GTS, SAP ERP/SAP S/4HANA, and connected systems.
- Improve SAP GTS reporting, analytics, data quality, and management information.
- Lead stakeholder, vendor, incident, change, release, project, rollout, and transformation activities.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience with SAP GTS in application management, consulting, or solution ownership.
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP GTS export control, sanctions, legal control, trade, and customs.
- Experience managing a global SAP application in a complex multinational organization.
- Experience with SAP GTS implementations, enhancements, upgrades, or global rollouts.
- Strong SAP integration, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English.
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP GTS Edition for SAP HANA/S/4HANA or SAP GTS 11.0.
- Experience with global SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
- Knowledge of SAP integration technologies and APIs.
- Experience with customs authorities and electronic customs communication.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based application management processes.
- Experience managing application roadmaps, budgets, vendors, and service providers.
