Overview
Lead Hardware Engineer role focused on EV battery and high-voltage (HV) BMS/PDU hardware development, testing, diagnostics, and safety-oriented engineering.
What you'll do
- Develop EV battery system hardware including BMS AFE/MCU/power supply and related circuits.
- Define HV-BMS hardware requirements, architecture, and specifications.
- Design and review schematics, component selections, circuit designs, and layout guidelines.
- Prepare HW test plans and test sample/DUT.
- Perform worst-case analysis, DFMEA/DfM, and reliability analysis.
- Work on battery diagnostics and SOC/SOH/SOP/balancing and battery protection algorithms.
- Handle PDU architecture (contactors, fuses, current sensors, pre-charge, HVIL) and lab bring-up.
What you'll need
- Experience in EV battery systems, BMS, CMC or PDU hardware development.
- Expertise with BMS circuits (AFE, MCU, power supply, isolation, sensing, protection, contactor-driver, communication).
- Know EMC/ESD/transient design including isolated daisy-chain.
- Experience with HV-BMS architectures for 400V/800V systems.
- Proficiency with FUSA and vehicle diagnostics using CAN/CAN FD and UDS.
- Hands-on experience with HIL/SIL, vehicle validation, and root-cause analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics/automotive/mechatronics engineering.
