Overview
Lead/Manager/Engineer role owning project planning and commercial management across hospitality, industrial, and residential developments.
What you'll do
- Develop, monitor, and control project schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
- Prepare baseline, look-ahead, recovery schedules, progress reports, S-curves, and MIS dashboards.
- Perform quantity take-offs, rate analysis, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, budgeting, and commercial evaluations.
- Manage contractor/subcontractor billing including RA bills certification, variation orders, escalation claims, and final accounts.
- Administer contracts from award through closure, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and project specifications.
- Track costs vs approved budgets and forecast cash flow, commitments, and commercial risks.
- Handle change orders, claims, EOT/variations, and contractual disputes with mitigation recommendations.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- 3–7 years (Engineer) in planning, quantity surveying, billing, or contract administration for relevant development types.
- 7–15 years (Assistant Manager/Manager) managing planning and commercial functions for large-scale construction projects.
- Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent scheduling software.
- Strong skills in quantity surveying, budgeting, cost control, billing, estimation, tendering, and contract management.
- Understanding of FIDIC contracts, commercial terms, claims, variations, and project controls.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel (project reporting tools proficiency mentioned as an added advantage).
