Lead Process Engineer

Overview

Lead Process Engineer is an independent contributor responsible for diagnosing and improving end-to-end processes and recommending process, policy, and technology changes. The role focuses on continuous improvement, leveraging automation tools, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes.

What you'll do

• Conduct process diagnostics using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
• Lead A3 problem-solving projects and facilitate value stream mapping workshops.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities across end-to-end value streams.
• Analyze information and data to evaluate best-fit problem solving vs process reimagination approaches.
• Facilitate journey mapping and human-centred design thinking workshops.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to run working sessions and drive conclusions and outcomes.
• Create regular reports and provide project status updates against initiatives and goals.

What you'll need

• Minimum 8 years of work experience in a process improvement role.
• Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt certification (or demonstrated knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma).
• Master’s Degree is stated, with preference for institutions like IIM or ISB.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required, with preference for institutions like IIT or REC (or equivalent).
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint, Excel).
• Proficiency with Minitab.
• Process Mining is an added advantage.
