Overview
Lead RDA Engineer responsible for leading a team using defect detection equipment and processes to identify and solve issues, accelerating learning cycles and technology transfer in Technology Development.
What you'll do
- Lead use of next-generation defect detection equipment and processes to identify and solve issues.
- Encourage a safe work environment and mentor team members in analyzing experimental process flows for defect anomalies.
- Quarantine process tools that are out of control and drive continuous improvement process (CIP) in operations.
- Develop inspection technology roadmaps and manage projects across functional areas.
- Direct the team to recognize, identify, and raise awareness of process anomalies.
- Develop and communicate clear program health metrics to set program priorities.
- Build and improve detection techniques and participate in technical meetings to synthesize new opportunities.
What you'll need
- PhD or Master’s degree in Applied Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Microelectronics, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- 6–8 years of RDA experience in the semiconductor industry working in process development for Equipment/Applications.
- 6–8 years of experience in RDA Defect, semiconductor optical and electron beam inspection methods, and e-beam technologies.
- Exposure to tools including Klarity and JMP, with deep understanding of defect mechanisms leading to failures.
- Investigate process anomalies, conduct root cause analysis, perform data manipulation, and find correlations.
- Proficiency in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Should be comfortable using AI tools.
