Lead Specialist Enterprise Item

Overview

Lead the item set-up process for a retail product catalog, working with merchant teams, internal stakeholders and external vendor partners to drive data accuracy and launch readiness, and support training and workload planning for the group.

What you'll do

• Complete item set-ups in partnership with merchant teams, internal stakeholders and external vendor partners.
• Drive data accuracy and ensure consistency across the categories you work with.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and remediate data according to the category strategy.
• Evaluate launch readiness through troubleshooting, remediating, and communicating with vendors and internal partners about launch blocks, system issues and content generation.
• Train and assist with item Center of Excellence trainings for new hires and refresher sessions.
• Own workload planning, prioritization and process changes for the department or division.
• Serve as point person for communication between various Target locations and other team members in the group.

What you'll need

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented, with excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Willingness to embrace ambiguity and remain flexible.
• Ability to multi-task with a high sense of urgency and initiative.
• Experience researching root issues.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office software such as Excel and Outlook.
