Lead System Architect & Technical Program Manager

Overview

Lead the execution of large-scale technical initiatives for the CitiDirect Platform Core, acting as a senior technical authority across System Architecture and Technical Program Management.

What you'll do

• Define and communicate future-state architecture, technical vision, and system design patterns for Platform ARTs.
• Design architectural enablers (Enabler Epics/Features) to support near-term business features without technical debt.
• Define, monitor, and enforce non-functional requirements (security, scalability, high availability, performance, maintainability).
• Partner with the Release Train Engineer to facilitate PI execution and deliver technical milestones.
• Identify and resolve complex dependencies across multiple partner ARTs and manage program-level technical risks.
• Translate architecture and NFR/security mandates into actionable features and user stories for engineering teams.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, system design, and enterprise-scale architecture.
• Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.
• Deep hands-on experience designing and deploying cloud-native architectures (ECS, AWS), microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Kubernetes/Docker), and modern data architectures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
