LLM Model Developer

Overview

Fine-tune Large Language Models with an emphasis on instruction fine-tuning and domain adaptation to improve model relevance and performance in specific contexts. This is a Subject Matter Expert role that involves leading model optimization work, influencing decisions across teams, and mentoring junior team members.

What you'll do

• Refine and adapt advanced language models to suit specific domains and instructions.
• Engage with evolving model architectures and datasets to improve accuracy and contextual relevance of models.
• Collaborate with various teams to align model outputs with project goals and address challenges in model performance.
• Experiment with model fine-tuning techniques and integrate feedback to meet desired standards across diverse applications.
• Lead the development and implementation of innovative strategies to optimize model fine-tuning processes.
• Provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Mentor and guide junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.

What you'll need

• 15 years of full time education.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Proficiency in Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Proficiency in GitHub, Docker (Software), and AWS AI Services.
• Advanced Python framework skills, LangGraph/LangChain, Langfuse, and Microservices Architecture.
• Strong expertise in deploying and managing cloud-native AI services to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Strong expertise in model fine-tuning techniques, including instruction fine-tuning and domain adaptation.
• Experience with cloud-based AI service platforms to deploy and manage language models effectively.
• Familiarity with containerization and version control tools to streamline development workflows.
• Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets to enhance model training and evaluation.
• Skilled in collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to integrate AI solutions into broader systems.
• Must-have skills include Terraform, CI/CD, REST API, GitHub/Jira, and Code Review.
