Machine Learning Engineer

Overview

Staff Engineer (ML) specializing in GenAI for voice and audio modalities, leading ML infrastructure and model-building to support scalable, customer-facing AI features.

What you'll do

• Design and develop machine learning infrastructure, tooling, and models for product teams.
• Help teams understand the data lifecycle and the experimental nature of machine learning.
• Build internal platforms and products that enable teams to add AI to customer-facing features.
• Consult with teams on ML patterns, anti-patterns, and tradeoffs to guide end-to-end customer experiences.
• Build scalable, resilient services for data integration, event processing, and platform extensions.
• Write high-quality, performant, testable code and stay accountable for code quality.
• Work in a cloud environment across distributed components and services.

What you'll need

• 15+ years of experience in Machine Learning or AI, focused on audio and voice GenAI solutions at scale.
• Deep expertise with ML tools/techniques including LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and audio/voice models.
• Experience handling and storing TBs of data or 100M to 110B records.
• Experience building and deploying ML-driven B2B multi-tenant applications in production at scale.
• Experience with Python, Jupyter, workflow engines (e.g., Dagster/MLflow/KubeFlow), DVC, Triton Server, LLMs, Postgres.
• Understanding of distributed systems and building scalable, redundant, observable services.
• Experience running solutions on public clouds (e.g., AWS, GCP).
