Overview

Manager, Engineering responsible for leading a software development team and delivering secure, scalable applications. The role includes technical leadership, Agile project execution, and operational ownership.

What you'll do

• Provide hands-on technical leadership, coaching, and guidance to software engineers.
• Oversee design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable, highly available apps using .NET, Angular, and MySQL.
• Lead and mentor the engineering team with clear goals and performance expectations.
• Drive operational excellence by monitoring metrics like delivery timelines and system performance.
• Plan and execute large-scale projects using Agile methodologies with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule to ensure application reliability and business continuity.

What you'll need

• 12–15 years of software development experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with modern programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience working with cloud-based systems such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience designing/building/operating secure, scalable, highly available web and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies and practices.
• Strong people and stakeholder management and communication skills.
