Mechanical Engineer IV (Staff Engineer)

Overview

Staff-level Mechanical Engineer responsible for designing, validating, integrating, and launching complex products and components.

What you'll do

• Design, validate, and bring new products to market.
• Define functional requirements and integrate complex components into final designs.
• Evaluate designs for effectiveness, cost, reliability, risk, and safety.
• Develop and evaluate testing, product specifications, and process validation plans.
• Create and review material specifications and bills of materials.
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, designers, and product specialists.
• Mentor engineers and support cross-functional technology development teams.

What you'll need

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10 or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with machine design.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling using ProE or SolidWorks.
• Experience with CAD or CAE systems and detailed engineering drawings.
• Experience designing electrical components and integrating systems, including circuit breakers, batteries, electrical panels, and AC generators.
• Previous experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP.
