Overview
Mechanical Engineering Department Manager providing senior technical and operational leadership for the Mechanical Engineering function across multiple equipment disciplines and energy-related projects.
What you'll do
- Provide technical leadership and governance for the Mechanical Engineering Department.
- Act as the senior escalation point for significant technical issues and engineering risks.
- Oversee engineering delivery for Static, Rotating, and Packaged Equipment.
- Manage resources and talent, including recruiting, mentoring, and competence development.
- Monitor departmental KPIs and drive continuous improvement and transformation initiatives.
- Support business activities such as proposals, estimates, resource plans, and client interactions.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 20 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining, LNG, Offshore, Energy, or related process industries.
- Hands-on design and engineering experience in at least one core area (Static, Rotating, or Packaged Equipment Systems).
- Significant experience in engineering leadership, technical assurance, resource management, and multidisciplinary EPC/EPCM project execution.
- Strong technical credibility and engineering judgement.

- Reports to the Engineering Director.
- Leads Static Equipment, Rotating Equipment, and Packaged Equipment disciplines.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
