Overview

Mechanical Engineering Technical Leader for telecom & datacentre product development with hands-on experience in mechanical design, solid modelling, structural simulation, and system thermal.

What you'll do

• Design and develop next generation Telecom & Datacentre products.
• Own architecture definition, implementation, and verification phases.
• Collaborate with ASIC teams during initial characterisation and define system-level integration.
• Develop and implement process/design improvement guidelines aligned to the latest design methodology.
• Work with cross-functional teams across hardware, software, diagnostics, and signal integrity.
• Support subsystem lab bring-up, integration, and unit test validation.
• Lead technical mentoring, talent scouting, team upskilling, and technology exploration.

What you'll need

• 16+ years of hands-on telecom & datacentre product design experience.
• MTech/BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with solid modelling tools such as Creo and UG-NX.
• Hands-on experience with structural simulation tools like Ansys.
• Experience mentoring/leading a technical team; people manager experience is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of system thermal and current cooling methodologies.
• Strong documentation and data management skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of mechanical reliability tests and material selection for corrosive environments.
• Knowledge of thermal and cooling solutions that connect mechanical design to thermal performance.
• Good English written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivation, partnership, and strong interpersonal skills.
