MES Engineer

Overview

The MES Engineer supports and enhances manufacturing operations through the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions. The role supports production continuity, system reliability, compliance, and operational excellence within a regulated manufacturing environment.

What you'll do

• Design, configure, develop, and implement Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions to support manufacturing operations.
• Maintain and enhance MES functionality to meet evolving business and operational requirements.
• Support system integrations with enterprise platforms such as ERP, SAP, and other manufacturing systems.
• Manage MES configuration, modeling, and controlled system changes.
• Provide hands-on support for production-impacting MES issues.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve MES-related incidents using structured root cause analysis methodologies.
• Implement temporary workarounds when necessary while driving permanent corrective actions.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
