Network Engineer

Overview

Network Engineer supporting IP/MPLS and Optical network transformation projects, including deployment, integration, migration, upgrades, and troubleshooting across customer networks.

What you'll do

• Deliver IP/MPLS and Optical network deployment, commissioning, integration, and upgrades.
• Create LLD, NDD, DCN designs, network diagrams, MoPs/EMOPs, and ATP documentation.
• Translate HLD requirements into detailed implementation designs.
• Execute in-service network migrations and modernization activities.
• Perform pre-checks, post-checks, service validation, and acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot IP, Optical, hardware, software, and NMS issues.
• Identify automation, process improvement, and network optimization opportunities.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of relevant IP, Optical, Telecom, or Network Engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Ethernet, IP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, L2/L3 VPN, and BFD.
• Knowledge of DWDM, OTN, SDH, Long-Haul, and Metro Optical networks.
• Experience using DCN and Network Management Systems.
• Experience with network deployment, commissioning, upgrades, or migrations.
• Hands-on telecom or networking equipment deployment and troubleshooting experience.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Segment Routing and EVPN.
• Experience troubleshooting IP connectivity and routing issues.
• Understanding of optical link architecture, alarms, and performance monitoring.
• Experience with Optical NMS.
• Basic Python and automation knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
