Networking Managed Services Engineer (L1)

Overview

Entry-level Networking Managed Services Engineer (L1) role providing managed services to keep clients’ IT infrastructure and systems operational.

What you'll do

• Identify, investigate, and resolve technical incidents and problems.
• Monitor client infrastructure and solutions for errors.
• Handle first-line incidents, determine root causes, and follow approved procedures.
• Provide support via telephonic, ITSM ticket, or chat channels.
• Execute maintenance activities such as patching and configuration changes.
• Ensure smooth shift handovers for continuous service.

What you'll need

• Basic understanding of Pulse Secure SSL VPN technologies.
• Basic understanding of Virtual Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet firewalls, and Cisco Nexus switches.
• Basic understanding of ASr/ISr routers, Cisco ACS, and ISE.
• Basic understanding of Meraki switches and routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Good understanding of using ITSM tools and ITSM processes.
• A bachelor’s degree in information technology/computing or equivalent experience.
