NPU AI/Processor Synthesis Engineer- Sr Staff

Overview

Senior Staff NPU AI/Processor Synthesis Engineer to plan, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems including FPGA and/or DSP components.

What you'll do

• Plan, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems across circuits, mechanical systems, and Digital/Analog/RF/optical configurations.
• Integrate features and functionality into hardware designs aligned to proposals or roadmaps.
• Run complex simulations and analyses and implement designs optimized for power, performance, and area.
• Collaborate with design, verification/validation, software, and systems engineering teams to incorporate test solutions for improved yield, test time, and quality.
• Evaluate, characterize, and develop manufacturing solutions for leading-edge products and advanced processes.
• Evaluate reliability of materials and properties, and improve productivity via innovation, automation, and optimization.
• Write detailed technical documentation for hardware projects.

What you'll need

• Minimum: 3+ years hardware engineering (or related) with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum: 2+ years hardware engineering (or related) with a Master’s degree.
• Minimum: 1+ year hardware engineering (or related) with a PhD.
• 2+ years experience with circuit design (digital, analog, RF) (preferred).
• 2+ years experience using schematic capture and circuit simulation software (preferred).
• 2+ years experience using hardware design and measurement instruments (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF tools, etc.) (preferred).
• 1+ year in a technical leadership role (preferred).
