Overview
As a Senior Lead Engineer (Hardware Engineering), you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems for hardware products.
What you'll do
- Apply hardware knowledge to plan, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems and related components.
- Integrate hardware features and functionality according to proposals or roadmaps.
- Run simulations and analyses, implementing designs for power, performance, and area.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement requirements and latest test solutions to improve yield, test time, and quality.
- Evaluate, characterize, and develop manufacturing solutions and bring-up processes to meet customer expectations and schedules.
- Evaluate reliability and apply innovation, automation, and optimization to improve productivity.
- Assist in assessing complex design features for potential flaws, compatibility, and compliance issues.
What you'll need
- Earn a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related fields.
- Have 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience (Bachelor’s path).
- Or have 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience with a Master’s degree (Master’s path).
- Or have a PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
- Have 2+ years of experience with circuit design (digital, analog, RF).
- Have 2+ years of experience with schematic capture and circuit simulation software.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
- 2+ years of experience using hardware design and measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
