Operations Assistant – Emerging Markets Debt, Associate, Investment Management

Overview

Operations Assistant for an Emerging Markets Fixed Income investment team, providing day-to-day operational support and acting as a point of contact for key inquiries.

What you'll do

• Monitor daily cash and position reconciliations and assign breaks to the EM Fixed Income team.
• Monitor cash balances and overdrafts and disseminate daily cash/overdraft reporting.
• Review long-form confirmations daily for EM derivative trade activity and manage tracking for reporting.
• Perform daily reconciliations and tasks critical to EM Trading Assistant and Trading teams.
• Support internal inquiries related to EMIR and MAS reporting.
• Own and handle accounting-related inquiries.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.

What you'll need

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.
• Organized approach with strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of basic financial concepts through coursework or job experience.
• Demonstrated quantitative aptitude.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
