Overview

Operations Associate for Merchant Operations (KYC), handling validation and verification of merchant KYB/KYC documents, risk assessment, and VCIP execution for online merchant onboarding.

What you'll do

• Validate and verify merchant KYB/KYC documents (e.g., PAN, GST, CIN, bank proofs, address proofs, beneficial ownership).
• Cross-check documents against regulatory and internal compliance checklists for authenticity and completeness.
• Identify discrepancies, mismatches, or forged/tampered documents and escalate for investigation.
• Perform risk assessment of merchant websites and mobile applications during onboarding.
• Run VCIP sessions to verify identity, liveness, and document authenticity in real time.
• Follow SOPs/compliance checklists and process cases within defined SLA/TAT.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree (any discipline), or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in merchant onboarding, KYC/AML, risk operations, or related fields.
• Working knowledge of KYB/KYC documentation and regulatory due diligence requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Google Sheets, etc.).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, process-driven, and risk-aware mindset.
