Packaged/SaaS App Engineering Lead

Overview

Own the design and continuous improvement of packaged or SaaS solutions, overseeing configuration, integrations and releases, and lead a team as the subject matter expert.

What you'll do

• Take full ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or software as a service solutions.
• Oversee configuration processes and manage integrations with various systems.
• Coordinate release activities to ensure smooth deployment.
• Set and maintain platform standards that guarantee system stability and optimal performance, aligned with business objectives and vendor requirements.
• Act as SME, collaborate with and manage the team, and make team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions and provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across teams.
• Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance solution quality and efficiency.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 years of experience in IBM DB2 Database Administration.
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in IBM DB2 Database Administration.
• Strong knowledge of database architecture, performance tuning, and backup and recovery strategies.
• Experience in managing database security and compliance with organizational policies.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and provide effective solutions.
• Familiarity with database automation tools and scripting for routine maintenance tasks.
• Capability to work with cross-functional teams to support database integration and deployment activities.
