Overview
Lead the technical team supporting and extending Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platforms for global enterprise business requirements. Partner with business groups, internal and external developer partners, and Solution/Technical Architects to deliver effective technical solutions.
What you'll do
- Be accountable for the overall deliverables of a Microsoft Dynamics CRM technical team.
- Work with business groups to understand functional expectations and produce technical solutions and documentation.
- Conceptualize and design solutions, independently estimate delivery work, and lead and validate team estimates.
- Own engineering quality, people, operational stability, and alignment with business leadership.
- Set technical direction for the technical team and ensure solutions follow Microsoft/D365 best practices.
- Partner with Solution/Technical Architects on architecture decisions.
- Review and analyze business requirements and provide technical feasibility assessments and estimates.
- Manage D365 developers and QA/DevOps, including hiring, mentoring, performance reviews, career development, and team structure.
- Own engineering execution against the roadmap, milestones, dependencies, risks, and capacity.
- Remove blockers and ensure predictable delivery.
- Oversee integrations between D365 and Azure, ERPs, downstream and upstream systems, Power Platform, and data platforms.
- Participate in the Scrum process as a developer, including Program Increment Planning, Sprint Planning, Estimating, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Demos, and Sprint retrospectives.
What you'll need
- 10+ years’ experience working in an IT environment.
- 6+ years’ strong experience in MS Dynamics 365 implementation and support.
- Extensive experience in C#, .NET, and JavaScript.
- Strong experience in Web API development and plug-ins.
- Strong experience in integration technologies, including SQL Server and KingswaySoft, to connect internal and third-party systems.
- Strong experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps, MS Visual Studio, and MS SQL Server.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or a related area.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL Server Integration Services, ASP.NET, and client-side JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a methodical and structured manner.
- Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to successfully team with software vendors, outsourcing partners, and internal business and IT associates.
- Ability to perform as an effective member in a team-oriented environment, maintain a positive attitude, and achieve desired results while working with minimal supervision.
- Enthusiasm for learning new skills and technologies, and passion for conveying knowledge.
