Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer

Overview

Lead the configuration, development and support of SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions as a subject matter expert, managing a team and serving as the primary point of contact for application issues.

What you'll do

• Expected to be an SME.
• Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Lead the design, development, migration and implementation of SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all application-related issues, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations, including security and data privacy requirements.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP EWM.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience overall, of which 7 years in SAP Extended Warehouse Management.
• Proficiency in SAP EWM.
• Extensive experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management.
• Strong educational background in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 15 years full time education.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management processes and best practices.
• Experience with SAP implementation methodologies, including ASAP and Agile.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
• Experience with system integration and configuration.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving within software systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP TM (Transportation Management).
• Experience with other SAP modules such as SAP MM, SAP WM, SAP PP, and SAP QM.
• Experience of working in SAP WM/EWM migration projects.
• Experience with SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS) and SAP ABAP development.
