Panel Design Engineer

Overview

Panel Design Engineer to create PLC design documents including electrical/control schematics, panel layouts, and BOMs, and to develop PLC/HMI control system architecture.

What you'll do

• Develop PLC-design documentation such as power and control schematics.
• Create industrial control/power panel design documents including GA drawings, panel layouts, and loop diagrams.
• Develop control system architecture for PLC and HMI systems and select suitable hardware.
• Produce panel layouts, GA drawings, and BOMs in line with standards.
• Work on BOM preparation and process through SAP (advantage).

What you'll need

• Experience of 6–8 years (B.E.) or 8–10 years (Diploma) specifying and applying electrical/controls equipment in water treatment process plants.
• Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Schneider PLCs.
• Expertise using AutoCAD Electrical/E-Plan.
• Experience designing low-voltage systems for North America, including listed codes/standards.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD Electrical, and SAP.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
