Partner Sales Engineer (UK)

Overview

Partner Sales Engineer (UK) responsible for pre-sales technical engagement with customers and partners, including demos, proof of concepts, and RfX responses.

What you'll do

• Deliver pre-sales activities such as solution demonstrations, technical guidance, proof of concepts, and RfX responses.
• Act as the go-to technical expert for Ping Identity solutions for customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with the sales team to deliver revenue during Qualification, Discovery, and Technical Proof Phase.
• Coordinate pre-sales efforts with a post-sales service delivery team throughout the sales cycle.
• Lead customer-facing meetings via videoconferencing and in-person for presentations, whiteboarding, and demonstrations.
• Provide feedback on product enhancements and customer needs to product owners.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent field, or 3+ years’ experience with enterprise-level software systems in a customer-facing role.
• Knowledge of identity protocols: SAML, WS-Fed, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM.
• Experience with REST interfaces.
• Knowledge of underlying identity technologies including LDAP (Active Directory), SSL/TLS, PKI, RADIUS, SQL, DNS, and JDBC.
• Experience with one or more modern programming languages and web technologies.
• Experience developing and delivering technical presentations, workshops, customized demos, and proof of concepts.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and fluent English language skills.

Details

• Work location: UK - Remote.
• Travel: 15% to 40%, predominantly in the UK with some international travel.
