Payroll Associate

Overview

The Payroll Analyst/Associate supports end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness for a multi-location workforce.

What you'll do

• Support monthly payroll cycle processing and validate inputs like joiners, exits, increments, bonuses, overtime, and shift allowances.
• Manage Full & Final (F&F) settlements including leave encashment, gratuity, and recoveries.
• Validate payroll outputs for alignment with company policies and statutory norms.
• Ensure compliance with Indian payroll and labour regulations including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, and Income Tax (TDS).
• Support statutory filings, reconciliations, returns, and respond to internal/external audits.
• Perform payroll data validation/reconciliation and prepare payroll reports, variance analysis, and MIS dashboards.

What you'll need

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in Indian payroll processing.
• Exposure to handling large employee base and complex salary structures.
• Strong understanding of CTC structuring, earnings, deductions, and reimbursements.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation, reconciliation).
• Hands-on experience with payroll/HRMS systems (Workday or Oracle preferred).
