People Operations Specialist

Overview

Own employee data integrity across the lifecycle in Workday and act as the primary gatekeeper for candidate background verification and compliance, supporting the PST shift and collaborating with US counterparts.

What you'll do

• Execute complex global data changes in Workday (transfers, promotions, comp updates, terminations) and manage mass uploads using Workday EIBs.
• Partner with external vendors to trigger, track, and review comprehensive background checks.
• Safely escalate and resolve background check discrepancies.
• Support onboarding documentation and compliant offboarding milestones across the employee journey.
• Resolve HR service requests efficiently through ServiceNow (SNOW) while maintaining strict SLA adherence.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, HRBPs, and external vendors to streamline workflows.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of core experience in People Operations/HR Ops with deep employee lifecycle exposure.
• Hands-on proficiency with Workday Core HCM, including EIB execution.
• Hands-on proficiency with ServiceNow (SNOW).
• Proven track record of managing high-volume, global background verification processes and vendor relations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data privacy capabilities.
