Physical Design Engineer ICE

Overview

Physical Design Engineer (ICE) to design and verify chip layout elements, from cell/block-level work through full-chip assembly and verification.

What you'll do

• Create and verify cell and block-level semi-custom layouts (floor plans, abstract view generation, schematic-to-layout checks).
• Perform reliability verification, debug processes, and parasitic extraction to validate design integrity.
• Use auto-place and route algorithms, custom polygon editing, and floor planning for chip assembly.
• Execute full-chip assembly, packaging, and verification against project timelines and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot complex design issues and implement solutions proactively.
• Schedule, staff, and execute chip development projects to follow methodologies and flow developments.

What you'll need

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Possess basic understanding of layout design and verification processes.
• Be familiar with ICC2 tools and methodologies.
• Have skills in TCL scripting, with practical application experience preferred.
