Platform Hiring Team Lead

Overview

Platform Hiring Team Lead for DoorDash India, leading a team that delivers candidate management inside the active hiring platform (Fountain) and drives hiring operations at speed and scale.

What you'll do

• Coordinate, coach, and calibrate a group of Platform Hiring Specialists while handling direct delivery responsibilities.
• Own daily metrics, queue health, and capacity; surface risks before they affect hiring dates.
• Maintain direct platform delivery and resolve routine operational issues; route complex risks to the accountable leader or PM Team owner.
• Lead team engagement, collaboration, and performance across assigned workflows.
• Drive funnel metrics including conversion, candidate drop-off, no-shows, offer acceptance, and handoff quality.
• Run calibration sessions for candidate decisions, approved scoring, eligibility, and exception handling; act as primary contact for system issues.
• Recommend surge coverage, queue rebalancing, and work assignments based on demand; support onboarding and adoption of new workflows/tools.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting, recruiting operations, sourcing operations, or a comparable service environment.
• People leadership experience managing 3–6 direct reports with regular one-on-ones, coaching, performance management, and calibration.
• Process-driven approach with knowledge of candidate review, funnel management, offers, and ATS data quality to achieve KPIs/SLAs.
• Ability to use daily operating data to prioritize work and make fast capacity decisions.
• Confidence in handling escalations, giving direct feedback, and maintaining consistent standards.
• Comfort working across markets, time zones, languages, and changing demand.
• Continuous improvement mindset with ability to clearly describe problems and quantify impact.
