Overview
Senior Staff PMIC Design Engineer role in Qualcomm’s PMIC analog design team in Bangalore, focused on defining, designing, verifying, and testing mixed-signal power management circuits and products.
What you'll do
- Oversee definition, design, verification, and documentation of mixed signal circuits and/or PMIC power management products.
- Execute PMIC design and verification strategies for an assigned block with supervision from a technical lead.
- Run functionality checks on a single block to ensure it meets specifications with minimal guidance.
- Participate across the design lifecycle from system definition/specification through circuit design, simulation, and post-silicon debug.
- Oversee layout and silicon evaluation.
- Communicate design information in written documents and orally in meetings.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years hardware engineering experience.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years hardware engineering experience.
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years hardware engineering experience.
- Expertise in one or more areas such as power electronics, control theory, high accuracy data converters/analog front ends.
- Use design tools including Cadence ADE, MathWorks MATLAB, Verilog/VerilogAMS, and/or System Verilog.
- Experience with PMIC verification/design including behavioral modeling and UVI techniques.
