Pricing Analyst

Overview

Pricing Analyst role focused on analyzing market and competitor pricing dynamics and using that intelligence to improve price effectiveness, profitability, and deal closing.

What you'll do

• Drive pricing analysis by market to understand pricing dynamics, including price effectiveness and customer/industry trends.
• Analyze sales team price change requests for contribution and price impact, including incremental volume and competitor price levels.
• Take pricing actions aimed at enhancing profitability and closing deals.
• Capture pricing intelligence about competitors and potential competitive pricing actions.
• Identify quick wins and revenue/margin optimization opportunities.
• Own performance of assigned markets/segments for revenue, contribution, and price performance across product groups.
• Implement and roll out the new pricing strategy in the assigned area.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or Business.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management.
• Experience with price performance/sales performance/revenue reporting.
• Experience creating and maintaining dashboards.
• Ability to perform profit-volume analysis (profitability analysis).
• Super user in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Power BI report creation and Power Apps knowledge; strong data interpretation skills.
