Principal Database Programmer

Overview

Principal Database Programmer responsible for managing database programming for clinical studies from study start through post database lock, including development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support.

What you'll do

• Manage programming aspects of clinical databases and applications from study start to post database lock.
• Lead operational study team and programming team members on assigned studies and study programs.
• Develop, test, and validate programs and clinical databases for client-related projects and third-party applications.
• Provide system administration and advanced technical support for internally developed applications and clinical databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and clinical database problems.
• Provide status updates, gather requirements, and ensure programming compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Provide planning estimates, forecasting, resource requirements, and input on project budgets and scope.

What you'll need

• Minimum 8 years of experience.
• Strong experience in Oncology; Autoimmune disease experience is cited as an advantage.
• Proficiency in Rave and Veeva.
• Object Oriented Programming experience (e.g., C#, C++, VBS).
• Understanding of CDISC standards (CDASH, SDTM, ADaM, etc.).
• Proficiency in more than one CDMS system, including building forms, edit checks, and complex rule development.
• Professional English language skills (written and oral).
