Principal Engineer Software

Overview

Principal Software Engineer is a senior individual-contributor technical leader responsible for architecting and implementing complex software solutions.

What you'll do

• Evaluate technical feasibility of products against business needs.
• Provide technical leadership across design finalization, code reviews, and production support/maintenance issue resolution.
• Lead design and implementation of critical software components and systems.
• Mentor technical members of the team.
• Contribute to coding standards, best practices, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute the technical roadmap.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to drive technical innovation.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent training.
• 7+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining a complex software solution involving multiple stakeholders.
• Expertise in Java, Python, Swift, JavaScript, or similar.
• Proficiency in multiple technologies and database platforms.
• Deep knowledge of cloud-based development tools and processes.

Nice to have

• Architecture-level cloud or product certifications.
