Principal Software Engineer

Overview

Principal Software Engineer to lead technical development and delivery at team/lab/platform level in a hybrid working environment in Hyderabad.

What you'll do

• Lead software engineering squads delivering high-quality applications and systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and architecture stakeholders to define roadmap, scope, and deliverables.
• Mentor and coach the software engineering squad for skills and career growth.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the software development lifecycle.
• Define consumption/integration patterns, data models, and contracts.
• Drive secure, high-quality software delivery and eliminate recurring issues via automation.
• Support adoption of test-driven development, code reviews, and CI/CD.

What you'll need

• 15+ years of experience.
• At least 7 years of proven software engineering experience, including 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Hands-on experience delivering systems design, software development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proven experience with automation and CI/CD.
• Ability to work with large-scale data sets, data pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Advanced knowledge of agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks including Python, Java, Rust, JavaScript, React, Angular, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
