Principal Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

Overview

Principal Software Engineer (C#/.NET) who drives technical direction for a product domain or platform capability. Leads architecture/engineering practices and helps shape how agentic AI tools are reviewed and integrated.

What you'll do

• Drive technical direction for a significant product domain or platform capability.
• Identify and lead architectural debt remediation to improve reliability and maintainability.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership on multi-quarter roadmap feasibility.
• Elevate engineering craft across multiple teams via RFCs and mentorship.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-country teams to design and deliver scalable software.
• Shape AI-generated code review and supervise AI agents, adapting architecture for agentic contribution.

What you'll need

• 10+ years experience building and scaling production backend services with .NET/C#.
• Proficiency designing, building, and integrating AI/ML-powered features using third-party LLM services.
• Working understanding of LLM behavior, including prompt design and evaluation of non-deterministic outputs.
• Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools/AI pair-programming assistants in real production workflows.
• Experience adapting review processes, documentation, or architecture for AI-agent codebase contribution.
• Experience with relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server and query optimization (PostgreSQL is plus).
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP for deployment, scaling, and infrastructure management.
