Process and Application Specialist (m/f/d)

Overview

Process and Application Specialist for Axalta’s Industrial Coatings (E-Coat) team, supporting customers with coating applications and processes.

What you'll do

• Provide technical application support for Industrial Coatings E-Coat customers.
• Handle product, process, and application-related customer inquiries.
• Plan and conduct customer trials, product evaluations, and technical testing.
• Analyze test results, prepare documentation, and provide recommendations.
• Lead troubleshooting and complaint resolution, including on-site customer visits.
• Support launches of new products, systems, and technologies with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management.
• Deliver technical training, seminars, and workshops for customers and internal stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Qualification as a Paint Technician, Coatings Specialist, or comparable technical background.
• Several years of experience with E-Coat processes and ideally industrial coating systems.
• Strong understanding of industrial application processes and production workflows.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Good MS Office skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites.
