Product Definition Engineer Accessories Piping

Overview

Product Definition Engineer for heavy-duty new unit piping, creating and revising CAD models, drawings, and bills of material for gas, steam, and generator accessories.

What you'll do

• Execute product definition engineering scope for 3D piping designs and skids arrangement drawings.
• Create new CAD models and alter existing models to meet project requirements.
• Produce and revise routing-related drawings and bills of material.
• Use and manage product definition data in PLM tools (Enovia).
• Interpret schematics/P&ID and establish interface and interference characteristics between components.
• Coordinate progress, status, risks, inputs, and target release dates with stakeholders.
• Participate in daily management practices and four-week look-ahead planning.

What you'll need

• 2-4 years of experience in a similar domain.
• 3D modeling expertise using NX (Unigraphics) or similar tools.
• Knowledge of piping components, routing, and piping support detailing plus welding.
• PLM expertise using ENOVIA or Teamcenter.
• Ability to review piping models, drawings, and bills of material.
• Understanding of change management processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Production engineering or equivalent.
