Product Lead - Opterra - Investment & Portfolio Accounting (UBOR)

Overview

Product Lead for investment & portfolio accounting (UBOR) on a cross-functional product team, in an individual contributor role, building core accounting capabilities.

What you'll do

• Carry product/feature work from concept to creation.
• Brainstorm product/feature ideas and define value propositions.
• Translate vision into roadmap and product/feature specifications using domain deep dives and requirements/business analysis.
• Partner with engineers/architects to convert specifications into product design and implementation.
• Create comprehensive business test cases/beds and use them to evaluate in-flight progress and compliance to the specification and vision.
• Track and question risks/assumptions, escalate issues, mitigate execution risks, and conduct competitor analysis.

What you'll need

• Fluent with LLMs and agentic tools and use them daily for research and analysis.
• Working knowledge of fixed income asset classes and related concepts such as amortization and loan settlements.
• Demonstrates high agency (self-directed, outcome-accountable, proactive problem-solving).
• Critical thinking with ability to articulate ideas and influence stakeholders.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple execution lines with attention to detail and quality.
• Certifications in the financial domain such as CA or CFA.
